We’ve loved Bella from the beginning of her career in the music industry. She has always been a star, great voice and a beautiful face and personality too! So us here at LISTEN sat down with her to get the secrets behind her latest hit…

What’s the name of your new song and what inspired you to name it this?
The name of my song is ‘Changed my World’. The thing that inspired me to name it this was the event that happened in my life. It changed how I would live my life.

What inspired you to do a song about your life and feelings?
I was feeling like my fans didn’t know or understand me as much as I wanted them to. I thought that it would be good if I wrote it in a song.

Did you expect your song to become as big as ot has become?
No, all I wanted for the outcome of my song was to make my fans understand me, little did I know that it would become this popular. I didn’t have the best upbringing as a child due to family problems that I had to grow up with and I know that a lot of people will be going through something similar.

What’s your message to teenage girls?
My message would be to not bottle up your feelings inside because that will make you feel worse. You will stress about the situation more than you need to by overthinking. If you speak to someone about it, whether its a family member, a friend or a techer/tutor.

How did you get out of the bad place you was in, after speaking to someone about your problems?
I spoke to my mum about how I was feeling because we have a close mother and daughter relationship. She decided to make me an appointment to speak to a councellor. During my first appointment with my councellor she gave me a thoughts and feelings book - during the week I would write my feelings in the book and then during the next appointment we would discuss them and find ways for me to resolve them.

What artist inspried you to record a song with so much emotion and story behind it?

Well as a young girl growing up I always loved Demi Lovato and when she wrote her song ‘Warrior’ it was so touching and as a huge fan of her and her music, I realised that I really conntected to her and knew more about her just from that song. So it gave me an idea for me to do the same so my fans will know me more and know that everything isn’t always perfect.

What has the reaction to this song from your biggest fans and many more people around the world made you think for the future? We are sure you will have many more fans now!

The reaction to this song has made me look hugely foward to the future! I am already working on new songs to release and also hoping to release an album within the next couple of years.

Are you looking into collaborating with artists in the future? Who would you dream of collaborating with?

Yes! I hope it is going to happen very soon in my career in the music industry. I really hope that at one point I will be able to collaborate with Demi Lovato because she has been such an inspiration to me. I also hope that I will be able to collaborate with some of the biggest artists in the industry.

We have to ask you Bella, there has been rumours that you will be bringing out your own products? Is this true?

Yes! I am hoping that sometime in the future that I will able to release my own products such as: a clothing range or a beauty range or maybe even both! But hey time will tell!

These are the potential images I have taken of my models for my magazine. I have the first model Paige holding our her hand for the new perfume release of my artist Bella Rose. The images of my second model Carlyn are images that won't be my main images but other images included in my magazine.

Research & Planning - Background Research for my Pictures

I have been researching the backgrounds that I will need to take my images. I found that most of the pictures used for and in pop magazines have a plain background with no pattern. They may be on a white background or a coloured background. They are pop colours like pinks, light greys, light brown colour, or like a orangey colours. I think now I have researched this it will help me more when I am planning where to take my images.

Research & Planning - Music Magazine Drafts Social Networking Feedback

From doing social networking feedback on what people thought of my 3 drafts, I found that more people thought that draft 3 was the best and most suitable. I found that for draft 3 6 people thought it was the best including another answer that won't upload on to my blog and for draft 2, 3 people thought this one was best. For draft 1 no one thought this one was the best. I am happy with the result as it was the result I was hoping for because I think it looks more pop genre and I think the whole blue colour looked too blue for a magazine.

My plans for this week are:

• I am going to take my pictures for my magazine.
• Fill in my production documents and post them.
• Add more posts of the drafts of my magazine.
• Do some social networking feedback on my magazine.

These are my magazine drafts from today. Today, I have chosen to change the font for my special edition, changed the barcode and added colour and a price to my magazine. I am happy with my improvements.

This is my second draft of my magazine. I have no changed the colour and added 'special edition', a barcode and a slogan. I am still playing around with my colours as I am waiting till I have added my picture to choose the most suitable colour.

The costumes and props that I will need for my magazine are:

• outfits for my model(s).
• maybe a chair.
• maybe a microphone.
• simple colour clothing.
• female model.
• serious or happy facial expression.
• open body language, that could suggest they are addressing the audience.

Research & Planning - Inspiration for Magazine

I like the layout of these pop magazines. I think with the main image and writing around looks effect and it makes the main cover line stand out more to the reader.

I don't really like the front cover of this magazine because I think it looks to crowded and confusing with all the pictures. I think because my magazine is targeted at a more sophisticated and older audience it would suit it more if the layout was similar to the 2 examples above.

From this magazine, it has gave me inspiration to take images of my make up and clothes as it would be suitable for the type of genre (pop) of my magazine - Listen.

I am using this contents page for inspiration for my own. I like the layout of this contents page for the 'we heart pop' magazine and I think that it will be a good layout for my own.
