Research & Planning - Sans Serif vs Serif Font

I now understand the difference between serif and sans serif. I now understand that for any text in my magazine I can use sans serif or serif but the golden rule is for my double page spread story I need to use serif as it is easy on the eye to read and in a size 12 or under size font.
